Well, I don't think I've ever been addicted to video games to the point where my life only involves around video games. But to tell ya the truth there was only one time I remember, and it was a older fps game me and my bro use to play. When you know a game becomes to a point where your addicted is when it becomes personal. That old fps game we use to play, and I still go back to it ones in awhile but we got addicted to it because it was our first time on a online community.
I became addicted with the community there and maybe just like
AA with your story's on that game, I also met friends and foes on that game, and its just bad when you get too involve with the internet all around.
Now I did become addicted to Fallout 3, but it was so worth it lol sorry...no, no, I quit that game after finishing every little quest and so forth. I think it is ok to have a hobby, but when it gets bad is when its the only time you spend in your life...then thats when you need some help. What I'm saying, I've personality never been addicted to as bad as the General posted in this old topic...but only that one time with that older fps game, that I did. Its always good to have a time during the day, after everything is taken care of too spend sometime playing a good video game...but just keep it a hobby and not anything more....something I'm still working on.
An other point I wanted to make, this whole topic reminds me of a ministry my friend does at a church on Monday nights. Its for guys just like this with bad addictions to video games, its just a time when anyone can hang out and play video games but there is like a time when we most shut down and stop playing. It is basically for a lot of xbox 360 players and it just a awesome thing to go to, it is basically a LAN party type and just a time to fellowship with each other and such.
